I’ve been in a house of mirrors once, as a kid - not good.
Maybe it’s the mirror Police use in the interrogating room ?

Yes, we should be seeking His face in gay people and pedophiles and politicians we dislike also.
And seeing His hand in all the political and social developments that make us squicky.
Maybe they are happening to teach us a lesson.
