How do you feel about having navy colored hair? Or kelly green? Or even teal?

I love it on other people, but figure I’d do a bad job on me and draw attention to my general unkemptness.

I work in a university, so brightly colored hair isn’t unusual. I think it’s fun. I’d never do it myself – I’m way too old for anyone to think I’d be cute with purple hair – but for younger folks I’d say go for it.

It sounds like fun, to me! 😁

You can buy hair paint, and then just paint it on. It washes out. It’s not a permanent hair color, unless you’re looking for something like that.

You can spray these colors on yourself, or you can have a stylist do it in a salon for you, if you want someone to help you.

I think of doing it sometimes but my hair is quite fragile, and I don’t know if I’d want to put it through that. 🙂

If I were to do it, I’d go for pink and lavender in different parts of my hair. 😁 😉

You know, I bet you’d look pretty cool with purple hair! 😁

Do you remember when Sebastian Cellophanes were really big back in the 80’s?

They looked so beautiful…

They were those gorgeous, shiny, bright, colors that people wore in their hair.

I always wanted to try a Cellophane color experience, but I never did it.

I would see people these beautiful shiny shades of burgundy and red hair, for example.

If I did something like that it would definitely be purple! Maybe it’s time for people of a certain age to claim our right to have fun hair!

Now I’m thinking about dying all my holiday baking goodies blue, but I guess that’s another thread…

Ohhh, you know, that would be really fun!

I love to use different food dyes when making Christmas cookies!

I think that this is a great idea. Have fun with your Christmas baking! 😀 ❤️

I have been known to have purple hair. Or purple streaks in Auburn hair. It’s occasionally fun, but can be overdone.

I love the interesting hair colors. Can’t do it myself right now, but someday I’ll be able to retire . . .

I’m not a fan of dying ones hair to begin with, but, if you feel you must, please choose a colour that exists in nature. Not one that exists in a packet of kool-aid (that wasn’t a joke, I honestly know a girl that dyed her hair with kool-aid)

One of my swing dance friends, Ashley D., had purple and teal colored hair when she was in the swing dance club here in West Virginia. Since she’s moved up to Michigan, she’s let her hair go back to a “normal” color.

Or kelly green? Or even teal?
My daughter has sported both of those (indeed, currently teal) among others and always looks adorable IHFHO*.

And my bride, mother of my daughter, has sported green, blue, red, and purple (currently blue and purple) and looks similarly adorable IHHHO**.

However, one thing I bet is important is whether you have straight hair (like adorable daughter and bride) or curly – A woman at church with curly hair probably has had a similar blue “streak” applied, but on her curly head it looks like someone hit her in the side of the head with a paintball!

(And now, perhaps, this guy should back slowly out of the room)

My dogs have a log of white hair. Wonder if I should dye it for Christmas…
