Well, he got her converted to his brand of cigarettes 😃

Interesting interview. I wonder what she would say about the “revolution” freely available birth control unleashed, were she around still.

The ciggie ads cracked me up though. Been ages since I saw cigarettes advertised on TV (and yes I am old enough to remember them…)

Yes, the ads were interesting.🙂

I’m watching it right now, and I have to say it is rather annoying how Mike Wallace was used as a mouth piece for the Phillip Morris Company. Now on to the remainder of the show.

Still watching it. Must say that my impression of Sanger is that she was a wicked woman. She stated in the interview that Catholics at that time were pro-birth control, and that only the hierarchy of the Catholic Church was opposed. She also shot down natural law by stating that begetting children is secondary in a marriage.

OK, finally finished watching the interview. I found it remarkable that when asked, Sanger could not say whether or not infidelity is a sin, but said that she did know that the greatest sin is bringing a child into this world with a disease. It is my opinion that what she found to be a disease was the child itself.

Thanks for posting the link buffalo.

You are welcome. It is important we know the roots of these evils.

Did I miss something?
It sounded like she could not even bring herself to admit murder was a sin.
