Be assured I an no antiquarianism though I had to look it up; I suppose in reality I am tempted to colour some people as a slight pastel of this antiquarianism when I see so much trying to take the Church backwards rather than forward in Unity and purpose with our Core belief and Values to the front for all to see and UNDERSTAND.A Catholic of traditional leanings cannot simply follow what you have stated in your last paragraph since you’re descending into the heresy of antiquarianism:

On the other hand, we must continue to cherish our traditions that were once an important element of our liturgy in the Roman Rite.
The real issue is that we all be absolutely clear as to what is important and what is not so we can deal with the times we face. The present times remind me of in the movies when disaster strikes and people are told TAKE ONLY WHAT YOU NEED but there are always some who take what isn’t needed and in the end they suffer needlessly for the burden and sometimes endanger the rest of the group and always end up having to throw them away. They learn a valuable lesson on what is important.
