I am just beginning this timeline bible study with Jeff Cavins and Scott Hann. Has anyone else ever done this program and if so, what did you think of it?

If it’s called Our Father’s Plan then I have the series and I thought it was terrific! I highly recommend it.

Where did you get it and how much did it cost?

I know Jeff Cavins, being in my local area, has a Bible study but because of my current work schedule and responsibility for my dogs (long work hours, indoor dogs), I can’t go. I am looking for other options as I really WANT a Bible study!

I’d prefer in person, but we all have our crosses to bear.

You are fortunate indeed! Jeff Cavins has a new study now called “The Bible Timeline” which I highly recommend. It expands quite a bit more than the program with Scott Hahn.

The *Bible Timeline * and Our Father’s Plan are two different Bible studies, although Our Father’s Plan does use the Bible Timeline. The Bible Timeline was designed to be used on it’s own and can be used that way.

I used the Bible Timeline before I started Our Father’s Plan (I’m up to lesson 7). I found the Bible Timeline to very helpful in starting to look at the “Big Picture” of God’s plan for salvation, and I think it is a good idea to complete it BEFORE one tackles Our Father’s Plan, but I wish I could have done it from the videos rather than the audio tapes. In putting the timeline together for myself, it was a little hard to visualize.

I think you can do a google search and find Jeff Cavins website. He sells the materials. It would be very expensive to buy. Our parish is providing the videos and we are buying the workbooks to do “Our Father’s Plan”. I just started, but am real excited about it.

Check the religious catologue at EWTN.com, they are 2 selections there, one of them is less expensive. I have it and I am just starting the course.

I want to know how it is. I actually am planning to register myself to one of his Great Bible Adventure seminars. He’ll be coming to Lombard, Illinois for this this coming November. I can’t wait!

Jeff did a Friday-Saturday Bible Timeline seminar in San Antonio for a Catholic men’s conference back in 1996 or so. I was fortunate enough to attend, and the event is still bearing fruit in our parish. If anyone has a chance to participate in such an event, I would say go for it. You won’t be dissappointed.

I have gone to my third session of Jeff Cavins The Bible Timeline with a group of parishioners. One of them bought the CD and we purchased the workbook material. It is absolutely great. I am starting to read the bible from the beginning and I’m looking forward to attending next session. And I thought Middle Earth was exciting! :yup: :clapping: 👍

we have used it in our parish, I first encountered it at Steubenville summer conferences, it should be mandatory indtro to all further bible study
