I tithe because it helps others that are in need. I might have $1 or 30 in my wallet and thats what I will give without any thought of “getting back”. But I do get back in the many blessings the Lord has seen fit to bless me with. I always have food on my table, a roof over my head, a wonderful family, and last but not least, God and His Church. But its not only about money like some people think. Its about giving what you have in the way of volunteer work, your gifts God has given you, etc. If you tithe because you think you will be given back ten or a hundred fold, then keep it in your wallet/purse because you wont.
