I just got back from the local TLM (High Mass) where they sung Gregorian Chant for the Mass proper along with some Latin hymns (Panis Angelicus, Lambiotte), pre-Vatican II vernacular hymns (Faith of Our Fathers) and a post-Vatican II recessional hymn (Christ, Be Our Light, Farrell).
The recessional hymn really stuck out to me in a good way. It was the first time I heard a modern day hymn used in a TLM. I found it rather poignant to see that the Ordinary and Extraordinary forms are really starting to complement each other now.
