Guys, Cardinal Julius did not say that the Summorum is not applicable in Jakarta.
As a person living in the diocese, know the priest and helping those people that organized TLM in Jakarta (they are my friends), I can attest that first hand.
In the Indonesian, it is clear that he said authorizing public TLM was not relevant for Archdiocese of Jakarta at the time being. If this is of the best interest for all is of separate matter of discussion. But he did not said that no priest may privately offer TLM or even said that Summorum Pontificium is not applicable.
The Cardinal now retired, and the Bishop of Jakarta now is Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo.
As for religious priest, it is the duty of his superior to grant the permission.
