I’ve found plenty of information regarding how the Latin Mass community is doing in the US and Canada, but there seems to be very little info about it’s progress in the rest of the World. Does anyone know how our fellow Trads are doing in other countries?

It’s really big in France, from what I hear. There’s also a healthy community in England and Germany. The FSSPX has a lot of South Pacific missions, and the FSSPX, the FSSP, and the ICK all have missions in Africa.

Theres also a very succesful latin mass chaplaincy here in Dublin. We have daily TLM and the reception of sacraments in the traditional rite is also available.

I’ve noticed some posters from the UK and Australia on the Traditional Forum, so I’ll have to ask, how is attendance for the Latin Mass in your parishes. Also, if Archbishop Burke had been able to say mass at Westminster, would it have been well attended ?

Italy is, outside of Rome and Gricigliano, largely a wasteland.

Here in Melbourne ( a city of around 3 million), 2 FSSP priests with their own parish, around 100 every Sunday at a Missa Cantata or Solemn Mass plus a daily TLM at 2 different chuches, packed at Christmas, haven’t seen an Easter yet, I’ll tell you in 2 months 🙂 . 2 SSPX parishes (I’ve never attended, so I don’t know how many go, but I’ve been told full house every Sunday) I don’t know if it’s our easy-going nature but we don’t seem to have the Trad/NO angst that is evident in the USA (just from browsing these forums, there **SEEMS **to be an incredible amount of bitterness)

In Latin America, where most of the global Catholic population live, it seems that there is very little demand or info about the TLM. There are not even fights about it, because it is not an issue in that part of the world.

Romania, East Europe here. Unfortunately, no SSPX, no TLM at all. Novus Ordo only, usually in a reverent form.

Jacob I would say that we don’t have the angst because we just don’t care enough. Religion is not a big deal to most Australians.

There are 3 very lovely churches in Rome proper that have a TLM two of which are FSSP (I believe) and one Society chapel.
