To all the Barabases here...

Thank you for the thoughful video link. I watched it last night and was reminded, once again, that I’m often guilty of being Barabas here at CAF. It’s so easy to want to fight over our beliefs.

I thought about the Kingdom of God and this video clip all day at work. I was also thinking of a question I wanted to ask CAF about Christ’s Kingdom. What I couldn’t figure out was how to phrase the question without sparking a christian civil war. I thought and thought about it and never came up with a solution.

So, instead of asking the question, let me share what I realized. “being an example of Christ’s love, is not always an easy cross to bear.”

Don’t ever be afraid of hurting other’s feelings or of being considered the cause of a civil war Ryan.

Remember what Jesus said;

Look at how He starts and how He finishes…Almost perfectly perfect for your post!

Matthew 10:

32 Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

34 Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law:

36 and a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38 And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.

In order to clean a bathroom, one has to be willing to get dirty. But once it’s clean, everything will be sanitary. What’s worse? Being dirty for a minute or filthy for life?

Thanks 2ndGen. I just posted in Traditional Catholicism to avoid an anti-Catholic debate about millenarianism. But, I think I’ll post in Sacred Scripture as well.
