How do you continue (or do you, generally?) with traditional customs that are often melted with muslim identity? Do you feel apart because of your faith?
I´m not talking about actual danger or such, more how you deal with a strong national/cultural identity from a rather muslim country after your conversion.
There are days when I´m just sad. I recently got the information of further travelling problems to my family´s home country and feel a bit lost with this, as the local community in the diaspora is often bound more or less by religion.

Alice, my prayers for you that your sadness will be lifted, and that God will give all necessary and helpful grace to those struggling with these issues.
Lord hold them deep in Your Heart.
