To find charity work

I have a spare 2 or 3 days,it is much better for me to keep active or busy during these days rather than being idle,I’ve been away from charity work for a long time and I feel it’s very hard at the moment to get out looking for opportunities again,I know there is plenty work out there I could find,I just need the will and motivation to get out there and find something again.Being idle hurts me as I get up to no good when I have free days.I have become greedy and selfish and unable to perform charity work for some time because of it.Thank you for your prayers.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength & fortitude in your good will discernment.
 
May Jesus Christ help you and touch many, many lives through the new you.
 
Stewardship Prayer

Gracious and Loving God, You are the Lord of the past, present and future. Open our hearts so that we may discern you will, and trust you in the choices that we make each day. Renew our lives so that we may always reflect your love in our encounter with others. Breathe in us new life so that we may be inspired to bring comfort to the afflicted, justice to the poor and hope to those in despair. May we be attentive to the needs of our Church and the communion we share. And by the strength of your Spirit, may we always be good stewards of your abundant grace. We ask this in your name. Amen.

:signofcross: Heavenly Father, give wisdom, discernment and guidance to Paul theApostle so that he can do good works under your hand and guidance; open doors for him; find ideal opportunities that use his strengths and talents and bless him with compassion, humility, and a servants heart. Amen
 
Thank you I am encouraged by your prayers.I asked again at the Franciscan soup kitchen,but once again get no reply.I hope there is something I can do and find out there.I really need to have a giving and charitable soul again,after years of selfishness and giving nothing to anyone and not even giving to the church anymore because of compulsive gambling. God be with you all,Lord have mercy,Amen.
