Its the first I heard of it, but it gets such gushing reviews I am going to try it. I just wonder if I will find the time to read it 😉 :o

I never understand this. I was raised to do a lot of housework. It just seems natural that the man does his share, even if he’s the only breadwinner.

Here’s an old mom hint: stick it in the bathroom.

Speaking of vacuuming-why can some husbands run a lawn mower-but say they don’t know how to vacuume?

Sadly not every man was raised that way. I dated a man VERY BRIEFLY. He was always complaining my apartment was a mess so I said ‘let’s go to your place’ to which he responded ‘We can’t I don’t have time to clean’

One day he asked to come over I told him he could be I would need to excuse myself to do a few chores. He sat on my couch, turned on the TV and started to complain my shuffling was annoying him

I think it depends upon culture.

I have a friend who was born and raised in Colombia. She was the only girl with several brothers, five or seven, I think. She was raised to do all the housework, to do the cooking, and to clean up after her brothers. She not only had to clean her room, she had to clean their rooms too. She had to do their laundry, shine their shoes, fold their socks. Well, you get the picture.

She said it was normal, even expected for women to do all the housework and clean up after the men in South America. She said she got out of there as soon as she could.
