To whom should my money go?

I have always known that it is good to donate money to others if you have enough and others don’t, but where should the money be donated? Should I give it all to the Church or should I give half to a charity like Oxfam?
 
All that the Church requires is that you support the Church according to your means. Please note that such “support” needn’t only be monetary, but can also be donations of time and talent. After that, you are free to donate to whatever worthy cause you think appropriate.
