This is for all the women who have seen the Star Wars movies (men can contribute too).

In Episode II Anakin returns from killing all the members of the Tribe of Sand People that kidnapped his mother and confesses this to Padme.

He tells her that he killed every single one of them, women, children, all of them…

My question to you is this: what would you do after being told this from of prospective suitor?

Would you do as Padme does, i.e. fall madly in love with the man?

Peace

I would be afraid, very afraid. I admit that I don’t have much control over who I am physically attracted to, but unlike Padme, I wouldn’t act on the influence of hormones if I knew without a doubt that my suitor was a murderer. In my own life, if I’m attracted to a man when I know a relationship with him is out of the question, I try to avoid acting on physical impulses.

That Padme was REEL STUU-----------------PID!!!

I would very kindly suggest that he seek professional help!

Think of WHY he did it. Think of the tears he shed for his mother and (I think) over the guilt he felt over killing every one of the sand people. They also had many good times together. THAT’S what Padme fell in love with and she probably thought that this was something done out of the extreme hurt Anakin was in over his mother.

Still, I would not be able to be with or stay with a man who did this.
