just wanted to let you know that today, Frank gets baptized and will be part of the True Church! he has eagerly awaited his conditional baptism ( he was baptized a lutheran in the 60’s but no record of it) for 2 years! imagine his excitement! he is very much anticipating this with joy! my sister and her husband will be frank’s god-parents. they have come hundreds of kilometers to make this possible for him.

our priest will be over for dinner after the baptism, and so will my sister and her husband and my daughter. the sad thing about this is Frank’s mom wont be attending. she despises religion, and wont have anything to do with this most joyous time in our lives. please pray for his mother. she needs all the prayers she can get. and also, please pray for us.

may God bless you all, and may He who is eternal and merciful bless all those who are coming home to the True Church!

CONGRATS!!

This is an exciting day for you and your family. Enjoy every second of it!!

what a great news is!
yes, keep his mother in your prayer and show her your love.

…and much joy to your husband, you and the family on this
joyful occasion - I hope you all have a truly
memorable celebration

Will keep Frank’s mom especially and all of you in prayer…

👋 Congratulations! Welcome to the family! :dancing: :clapping:

I will definitely pray for his Mom and for the conversion of all CAF family members!

the baptism was lovely! it truly was! frank is very happy. he smiled the entire evening. he is overjoyed to be a Catholic:) thank you all for your kind words. frank will eventually tell his mother, so please, keep him and his mother, especially his mother in your prayers. she will not be happy when she finds out:(

Great news! Deo Gratius! I will keep Frank in prayer re his mother…I know it can be very hard when a close and loved family member is in total disagreement with one - it can be a very heavy cross. May The Holy Spirit inspire Frank and may He inspire too and enlighten his mom…

thanks. i hope frank can enlighten his mother as well. she is the only family he has left. she lives in germany and is in total opposition to our faith, or any faith for that matter. she simply doesn’t care for religion at all. so she most definitely needs as many prayers as she can get. i pray for her all the time. she will be angry when frank tells her. so please, keep praying for her. she desperately needs it. they are very very close, so he will tell her, and i pray she takes it ok.
