Did you know you can get an indulgence today by using an item blessed by a Bishop or Pope (I have a Rosary), using the below conditions?
You can even get a partial indulgence by using an item blessed by a priest or deacon.

An indulgence is ā a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven, which the faithful Christian who is duly disposed gains under certain prescribed conditions through the action of the Churchā. The Church applies the graces of Christ and the Saints to us, just as a third friend might step in and help us fix the windows we broke. A partial indulgence remits some of the temporal punishment, a plenary indulgence remits it in full. One can gain an indulgence for oneās own soul, or for souls in Purgatory.
The Apostolic Penitentiary names the conditions for a plenary indulgence: being in a state of Grace (thus, friendship with God); having the interior disposition of detachment from sin, even venial sin, that is, wishing and striving for even the slightest offense against God to be removed from our lives; a sincere and holy Confession; worthy reception of Holy Communion (even if outside of Mass); prayers for the Holy Father, and the completion of some act. These do not all have to take place on the same day, but as the Penitentiary explains, can take done about twenty days before or after the indulgenced act.
St. John Paul II wrote, āindulgences, therefore, āfar from being a sort of ādiscountā on the duty of conversion, are instead an aid to its prompt, generous and radical fulfillmentā ā ā. On the 29th of June, if one visits the Cathedral Church (which, this year, everyone does by attending Mass) and says an Our Father and the Creed, one can be granted an indulgence. This can be a great impetus for our ongoing conversion to Our Lord and holiness in our lives.

June 29th, Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul
The Solemnity of the two great Prince-Martyrs of the City of Rome is not only a commemoration of the shedding of their glorious blood in supreme witness to Christ, but is also memorial of the unity and catholicity of the Church which Christ himself founded upon Peter and which spread throughout the whole world through the preaching of the Apostle Paul.
In commemoration of her apostolic origins and of her unity founded upon the Bishop of Rome, the Church grants a special plenary indulgence on this day.
Religious articles blessed by the Pope or by any bishop
āA plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful who, on the Solemnity of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, make prayerful use of an article of devotion, as defined by Norm 15, that has been blessed by the Supreme Pontiff or by any bishop, provided the faithful also make a Profession of Faith using any legitimate formula.
āA partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who devoutly use such articles of devotion properly blessed by either a priest or a deacon.ā [Manuel of Indulgences, Grant 14]
What counts as a āreligious articleā?
āThe faithful can acquire an indulgence if they use devoutly one of the following properly blessed pious objects, namely: a crucifix or cross, rosary, scapular, or medal.ā [Manuel of Indulgences, Norm 15]
How do I gain a plenary indulgence today?
It is rather simple:
1) While in the state of grace do the following:
a) Pray with a religious article (crucifix/cross, rosary, scapular, or medal) that has been blessed either by the Pope himself or by a bishop. (Partial ind. for item blessed by priest)
b) Make a Profession of Faith, for example: The Nicene Creed or the Apostlesā Creed.
2) Go to confession within about twenty days before or after, with at least the habitual intention of gaining indulgences.
3) Receive communion within a couple days before or after, with the same intention.
4) Pray for the Holy Father, the Pope (example: Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be)
5) Make an act of the will to detest all sin and to be free from attachment to all sin, even venial sin.
n.b. Only one plenary indulgence can be obtained each day, others will be partial.
God bless you all!
