Today's Homily on EWTN

I must encourage everyone to view today’s holiy given by Father Francis Mary. He spoke on the need for radical leadership from the bishops; a need for them to be radical men of God with no compromising. He encouraged them to “Just lead!” and there will be followers. Give us only the truth in all its fullness.

He also spoke on loyality as a lost virtue.

I agree, it was brillant! I often listen to the Mass on EWTN on the way to work. We are blessed to have an EWTN affiliate in my city.

I must have missed that homily, whenever.

I think that EWTN specifically has such an opportunity to mobilize people in the U.S. to orthodox Catholicism. I often think they squander the opportunities. All the St. Padre Pio programs don’t do much for me either.

One priest said that all the souls in purgatory were in attendance at Padre Pio’s Masses. Stuff like that goes right over my head.
(By all means, explain it to me.)

I just don’t seem to be a Mother Angelica groupie, like so many people are. I think there are a lot of Catholic clergy and lay people who could contribute via EWTN TV or radio.
