Are there really companies in the world that are too big to fail?

Prolly some banks and stuff.
But I’m not an economist, so I’m really not sure…

No there aren’t. That’s just a way for interests to get what they want. Fear can be a powerful motivator.

The bigger they come, the harder they fall. Even the United States could fail.

Nope. There are none so big that they are incapable of failing.

But there are some big enough that should they fail, lots of people all over the world are going to be feeling some pain.

Maybe Apple or Valve, but that has less to do with size and more to do with rabid loyalty. The latter is run by someone who has become a messiah figure in gaming, and the former has mastered the art of creating problems that they then offer expensive solutions for. You can’t take down companies with fans that loyal!

But joking aside, no, no company is too big to fail. Some companies are just more capable of dealing with blows than others.
