This guy saved the life a cute little baby porcupine and now he’s the proud poppa. I’m betting he doesn’t take it to the refuge he says he’s gonna go to any time soon. Ever hear of a pet porcupine?

Aww, that is cute! As for pet porcupines - well, I guess there has to be a first time for everything. 🙂
 
I saw this on the news last night…I agree that little guy was very cute. I liked the little bed/nest they made for him out of an old storage tub and a towel.

BIG thumbs up to the guy that actually went to the lengths he did in taking care of this little guy, not many people would even care in todays world.

Back about 5 yrs ago I lived on a rural rd where people drove very fast, one day coming home, I saw a huge snapping turtle on its back right on the side of the rd, inches from traffic, it was struggling of course, and could not flip itself back over, so I went and got a grain shovel and an old sheet, I flipped him over and used the sheet between me and him, so he would not bite or scratch me, and I carried him to the back of our lot, there was large pond back there which Im assuming he came from, I set him down, and while he was upset and hissing, he didnt have any injuries, he started right for the water!

I would do the exact same thing today, if I came across any animal I saw in trouble.
