Eh, I’d put Mary in the top 3 and Community at the bottom, or off the list entirely.

St. Joseph and the other saints and angels need to be up there at 4 right behind Jesus in the Eucharist, Sacraments, and Mother Mary.

Scripture could stand to move up a couple notches as well.

So this is not about reasons for becoming a Catholic. It looks like reasons for Catholics remaining in the Church.

The Eucharist is the number one reason for becoming Catholic
Not in my case. I just woke up one Saturday morning knowing the Catholic Church was the true Church and I went to a Church to ask how to become a Catholic. They sent me to a priest who was running RCIA and I asked to join the program.
I knew absolutely nothing about the teachings of the Church but that morning when I knew the Catholic Church was the true Church I also knew that whatever it taught must be true.

I would characterize what you’re describing as the motivation for you to become Catholic, not the reason for being/ becoming Catholic.

I see the “reason for being Catholic” as the main reason why everybody should be a Catholic, which is the Eucharist, as it’s the source and summit of the faith.

But people can decide to convert to Catholic, or even decide to stay in the Church, for many different reasons. Some people may be on a search for truth, some people may be motivated more by a family relationship, etc. This to me is more of a motivation, it’s not the “why we’re Catholic”.
