Welcome to Part 2 of the theology of the Body Study Group. This week we’ll be sharing our thoughts on JP II’s General Audiences:
The Boundary between Original Innocence and Redemption ( Sept. 26, 1979) and The Meaning of Man’s Solitude ( Oct. 10, 1979.)

If anything here sparks a thought for the last session, please go back and post it so we can share in your thoughts. Thank you all for joining us.

**The Boundary between Original Innocence and Resemption. Food for thought?

**What is so important about the “Boundary” between Original Innocence and Redemption?

How is it that we participate in our salvation? that we become co-creators?

And what does all of that have to do with The Theology of the Body?

Is this a matter of Grace or Faith? Is this a gift or a right?

**
The Meaning of Man’s Original Solitude. Food for thought?**

Is it good that Man be alone? If no, then does this mean man should marry?

What did man lack in his original solitude?

What do you think God will do about this?

What is significant about man naming all the animals and what does that impy about Eve?

these are just a few I thought up, feel free to add you own. See you all soon!

by the by and by - I just started Christian Marriage Theology class and we are going to be using this text as well! So I just want to thank you all for helping me study in advance. Thanks!

Apparently naming the animals was a form of dominion over them. As for Eve is was the same way BUT not quite.
When Adam says the Eve is: "flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone’ he recognizes that Finally there is another like him in overal stature. (2 legg, 2 arms, a head all in the same places and NOT like the animals).
Yet, Eve’s name given by Adam is more of a ‘Thank You’ to God for His creating a female.

Just my thoughts…
