Toties Quoties
From noon of All Saints’ Day till midnight of the next day (All Souls’ Day), all those who have confessed and received Holy Communion on either of the two days or within the following octave (8 days) may gain the toties quoties indulgence: a plenary indulgence applicable to the souls in Purgatory every time they visit a church or public chapel, and pray 6 Our Fathers, 6* Hail Marys, and 6 Glorias for the intention of the Holy Father.

Another powerful prayer for the poor souls is the Saint Gertrude prayer.
**Prayer of Saint Gertrude the Great
**Eternal Father, I offer Thee the most precious blood of They Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and family. Amen.
(Our Lord told St. Gertrude the Great that the above prayer would release 1000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said. The prayer was extended to include living sinners as well.)
