I was thinking about this over a while, and I think that if the Church is administrated in a libertarianish way (for instance, people want to obey and are not compelled via a Church-police) then much more would it be okay for the state to be so administrated.
But what of the antecedent? I mean is it true that the Church is less bureaucratic or centralized than a state? I think it is, because again it is very voluntary in both funding and discipline while the state usually always makes use of its police.
But again, what do you think about both antecedent and consequent?
