Does anyone knows the difference between the content on the Tract Packs by Catholic Answer Staff and Beginning Apologetics Volumes by Father Chacon and Jim Burnham? Would be redundant to have both? Is there any of the covering more ground?

Thanks,
Armando

Some of the information overlaps, but they have different emphases. The CA tracts are more informational, to pass on to someone who has misconceptions about the Faith. The Beginning Apologetics series is more about equiping individuals in a more systematic way with the information and arguments they need in actively defending the Faith.

This is correct. They have different approaches. CA is like: “here is the info on the topic” The Beginning Apologetics series is more like “Let’s practice apologetics”. They are workbooks. It’s kind of like in school, you have the textbook (CA tracts for our purposes) and then you have the workbook (the Beginning Apologetics). It’s helpful to have them both!

I have noticed that some approaches or arguments work with some people, while other arguments work with other people. Having several different types of approaches is EXTREMELY valuable.
