Trades for Priests

Hi all,
I was wondering, what do you think priests would have went to college for if they had four extra years before they became a priest? In other words, what do you think are the trades priests most appreciate(e.g, cyber security, business management, etc.)?

I know a priest who got not only one but a few degrees unrelated to theology – I can’t be more specific – before he answered the calling to be a priest.

Anything that interests them. Priests are people just like you and I and have varied interests just like everyone who does not go on to be a priest. I always find these types of questions strange, like some believe priests are in a different category of person that need to get pigeonholed into some preconceived category of what a priest is allowed to be.

A Parochial Vicar at my parish was a mechanical engineer before entering seminary.
