Traditional Catholic Prayers

I wanted to know if someone could tell me any traditional Catholic prayers. I don’t mean like the Our Father or Hail Mary, I mean like the Rosary or something like that. The prayers I know are the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and am learning Chaplet of St. Michael. So I guess by that list you can kind of guess the prayers I am getting at. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I plan on learning the Chaplet of St. Michael for Lent. a side note This will be my first Lent, I will be baptized at Easter.

Hi! I will be getting baptized at Lent as well so it looks like we’re embarking on this journey to Christ together. Your question will probably be easier answered if we know what kind of prayer you’re looking for.
 
My favorite prayers include: The Angelus, Salve Regina, Regina Coeli, Ave Stella Maris, Memorare, Anima Christi, Te Deum, The Divine Praises, Sub Tuum Praesidium, Prayer Before A Crucifix, Act of Faith, Act of Hope, Act of Charity, Guardian Angel Prayer, Prayer to St. Joseph, Eternal Rest prayer,Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Morning Offering, St Gertrude’s Prayer to the Souls in Purgatory, Tantum Ergo.

This site has a lot of traditional Catholic prayers.

There are quite a few Chaplets which can be prayed on Rosary beads. This site also has Litanies, Novenas and Devotions, a positive treasure trove of traditional Catholic prayers and prayer practices.

Don’t take on too many at once. Although, it takes some time to discover which devotions/practices strike a chord, if you try too many at once, you run the risk of burning yourself out and abandoning the lot.

Some people find chaplet/rosary meditations difficult. Here are some other ways to join the Church in prayer and it doesn’t take so much memorising.
