Hello all! I found this website, and I thought I’d share it. It is a live-stream, Traditional Catholic Radio station, and it plays Mass in the morning, different homilies/songs throughout the day, along with the Rosary at 1pm EDT, and Compline chanted by Nuns, at 10pm and 1am EDT. I hope you enjoy it! wftsradio.com/

God Bless you all.

Thank you for that link! I’m downloading the newer version of Java so I can listen.

I currently listen to my local Catholic Radio station out of Melbourne, FL which is Devine Mercy Radio - WDMC AM920. divinemercyradio.com/

Again, thanks for the link!
Mary

Thanks for sharing this link, thequietsinger. 🙂

I am going to take a look at it.

YAY!! It’s working. Sometimes my computer is rather fussy when it comes to Windows Media Player and other internet media devices, and it won’t play them for me, but I am happy to say that this one is working for me and I am able to listen to the radio station. 🙂

I guess Trads would be okay with radio, but not that new fangled thing called TV, right?

Just kidding!😃

LOL! Neofight. 🙂

Actually, we gave up cable to cut costs, so we have limited TV viewing off of an antenna. We live in a rural area so we don’t get that many stations. I watch TV off of our computer, so I do enjoy listening to internet radio.

Thanks for sharing. For those that would be interested, I believe the holimy I’m currently listening to on that website is from an SSPX priest. For what it’s worth it doesn’t sound much different than my diocesan priest’s homily for that day.

Could he have actually been with the SSPV? They are a radical off-shoot of the SSPX. The founders believed the SSPX to be too modern.

From what I can tell, the SSPV openly flirt with sedevacantism, if not outright embrace it. They are not in communion with Rome.

The website cited in the OP mentions the consecration of Bishop Clarence Kelly. He is with the SSPV and his consecration is not considered valid. The website also mentions the Daughters of Mary, and they too are SSPV.

It is good to have Catholic radio via the computer! We had a EWTN radio station but it has been gone for years having the frequency bought out form under them by intolerant fundamentalists. They also force NPR stations off the air by the same methods.

The left end of the FM dial has 3 stations locally, one of them was EWTN and the others NPR.

The powers that be cannot stand for any venture to exist for any other purpose than making a buck.

Not sure, I heard “Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel” somewhere and assumed it was SSPX.

thanks for sharing this.

I have not listened to it but if it is SSPV then I would avoid it since it is sedevacantist and not in linw with the pope. It would be dangerous to listen to it if you don’t know your faith and this you top become sedevacantist.

If it is SSPX on the other hand then I would not mind listening to it since they do offer some good homilies although I myself do not align myself with their position.

If you want good Orthodox Catholic homilies from priests loyal to Rome I would reccomend
AudioSancto.org

Michael Voris is also good and he is loyal to Rome as well.

Sensus Traditionis which is a website from Fr Chad Ripperger(FSSP) is also pretty good.

I honestly had no clue about the SSPV…last week they mostly played different traditional Christmas songs, and some chants, so I thought it was alright.

if it is just music then I don’t see much of danger but I would be careful about actual talks in a SSPV radio station.

If you want talk and stuff then I would rather recommend the ones I listed above such as,Michael Voris, audio sancto, or Fr Chad Ripperger.

Hi thequietsinger,

Please don’t feel bad about it. You didn’t know, and neither did I. 🙂

I went over there like you did, and enjoyed listening to the lovely music that they had on.

I didn’t know anything about it until the others here mentioned who was running the website.
