As much as you try to separate them, the fact of the matter is that 99% of the people clamoring for female Cardinals are ultimately trying to attain female ordination.
 
The Church of JESUS CHRIST the high priest shall ever more stay the same or “frozen” as you call it. If it falls away from the straight and narrow path; delineates from the sound doctrine and the TRUTH it is a separation and deviation from itself; much like a bad root that will wither and no longer bear good fruit and must be cleaved off. Technically speaking this is in reference to the lost people within that are attempting to alter what cannot be altered by human approach.

Women cardinals…?

Timothy and Corinthians define with clarity the position which women hold in the church and no part of the “word” of GOD can be altered; for it states that nothing of it can be taken away or added to it. So if people decide to alter the method by which they practice within the church in a manner that is not appropriate nor of sound doctrine then those people are abandoning the church, misled and misleading.

By lessening or attempting to remove any facet of the true faith in JESUS CHRIST and “walk”, they are simply denying the faith and are blind. Held captive and either unwilling to listen or unwilling to accept the truth.

I would agree with that. Get women clerics accepted (as Cardinals) and there is a shorter leap then to make. The next step could be women deacons (as there is a sort of precedence for that in the early Church) and then you’d have women reading the Gospel and giving homilies at Mass, and being up there next to the priest at Mass. From there the leap to women priests might be less insurmountable.

Pope Francis has now clearly drawn a line and ruled out women Cardinals. Let’s move on and forget about it.
