Does anyopne know where you can have a directed 8 day retreat which will be given with the traditional Jesuit methodology. Basically i am looking for a current Jesuit priest which is ibn conformity with the magisterium of the Church and is loyal to the retreat method of St. Ignatius of Loyola?

Try here, omvretreats.org/ The OMV priests are very orthodox! 👍

p.s. I realize this thread is from last year, but it turned up on a google search, so in case others are searching 🙂

The Jesuit Center in Wernersville Pennsylvania has a bunch of retreats. Google them!

Here’s a link to all of the Jesuit retreat centers in the US.

You can also see if there is a Jesuit run parish or college in your area. They always offer the Spiritual Exercises in the 19th Annotation (retreat in everyday life,) which was developed by St. Ignatius for those who could not get away for an eight or thirty day retreat. A benefit of this is that you get the opportunity to apply immediately what you are discovering in your journey of prayer under the guidance of a spiritual director. It’s not as immersive as actually being at a retreat center without distraction, but you will develop the spiritual muscle to be able to work around and through distraction. It’s definitely not watered down.
