There is an online guide to the Latin Low Mass available.

Using a variety of sources, the Mass has been divided into sections with narrative explanation, illustration, history and background. The Latin is side by side with the English exegesis/translation. There are also sections on the altar setup, the vestments, and the furnishings and equipment with photos and descriptions. You can start at the intro and click through the entire mass by hitting the “next” link on each page. Or use the table of contents to find various sections.

One reason it was put together was to offer a more extensive online reference as opposed to a simple translation. While there is no way any web page can impart the significance of our Mass, it may be a useful resource to some.

The Latin was not touched or corrected in any way. In the English exegesis, only typos and such were corrected.

I would suggest you avoid using the term “Latin Mass” for the 1962 Missal Mass.

Latin is still the official language of the Latin rite. In Canada, TV shows the Christmas and Easter Masses of the Pope and he uses Latin in the Novus Ordo Mass.

Thank you for your suggestion, but that’s why the term “Traditional” Latin Mass is used. This should avoid confusion because the pope doesn’t offer such, during the holidays or at any other time.
