Hi was wondering before 1963 the mass was difftent in language and format rules etc so, what would be the equivalent today ?
Thanks chuck

The Latin Mass or Tridentine mass is still performed in some parishes. There are some that do so exclusively. Check the internet to find some that you can attend in your area.

The equivalent today would be the exact thing you’re describing. It is technically called the Extraordinary Form of Mass. They are all over the US, and there are also many parishes in the UK that do them. They aren’t exactly common, but they aren’t rare either. Depending on where you live in England (London…) you could easily find one of these masses to go to.
