Transfiguration Feast

Last year on the Feast of the Transfiguration I heard the lector read something like this:

Let those who suffer see their future in the light of the transfiguration of the Lord.

Can anyone give me the corrected quote and where it is from?

Let those who suffer see their future in the light of the transfiguration of the Lord.

Can anyone give me the corrected quote and where it is from?

That sounds like it might have been one of the petitions being read, asking God that those who suffer be able to see that someday their suffering will end and they will see the Transfigured Lord in all His glory.

It is not a verse from the Bible, and quotes are not added to the Scripture readings, so the only other thing would be a petition, if it was not part of the homily by the priest.
