Transubstantiation and a perceived lack of faith

Disease, life and death are in the hands of God, and I just put my trust in God when I take the chalice.

There has always been disease and regardless of what studies might suggest, I leave the outcome to God.

Just my opinion, but I think God would want us to use common sense when it comes to stuff like that. He gave us science and reasoning for a reason. It’s possible to use both and still be committed to the sacraments.

This would be like saying never go to a doctor just leave it up to God… If we have faith we don’t need a doctor… but of course we do need doctors God gave us the sciences to help.
