Tri-Ritual??

Christ is Risen!!! Hello my fellow brothers and sisters! Does anybody know if it is possible to become tri-ritual? I’ve heard of bi-ritual before but never tri… I ask because I am going to be living in a Byzantine rite monastery and want to become a priest in said rite. I am originally Roman Catholic. That being said, I would like to lead the traditional Latin mass one day and I doubt that being solely byzantine rite would allow me such s capability… That’s two… Lastly there is a coptic catholic parish in my neighborhood that needs a priest that can speak good English and well although I’m not a copt myself I would like to serve the rite because it is part of our Holy Catholic family and being one of the rites with so few members and being largely unknown, I’d like to “help the little guys” so to speak This would be a true dream come true serving many diverse people across different cultures and backgrounds. People of all nations! Haha a boy can dream can’t he? Anyway, I hope you guys can help me!

I think the concept is always your own and one other where the need exists.

There are the papal indults for **bi-ritual **and adaptation of rite.

• Biritualism is a grant for a period of time to celebrate in the Divine Liturgy or Holy Mass and the Holy Sacraments according to the liturgical rite of another Church sui iuris as well as one’s own Church *sui iuris, *yet always ascribed to your own Church sui iuris.
• The adaptation of rite is a papal indult allowing the foregoing and to be part of the liturgical, theological, spiritual and disciplinary patrimony of another Church sui iuris, yet always ascribed to your own Church sui iuris. This second one is more common for those in religious institutes (such as a Latin Catholic in a Byzantine monastary or even for incardination of an eastern priest in a Latin diocese.)

If the reason for the grant ceases, so does the indult.

If you have not obtained a transfer of ritual Church through the Bishops, then your ritual Church is still the Latin Church.
