Tricky question (trivia), Is it licit/valid or not?

Is it ever licit/valid to use the following order during the Liturgy of the Eucharist?

sign of peace, offering of the gifts, washing of the hands, Creed,-…- prayer for the gifts, prefatio, Eucharistic prayer

I’m not sure licit/valid is even relevent for the creed since it isn’t part of the Liturgy of the Eucharist to begin with.

It is valid and licit. It is one of the differences between the Ambrosian rite and the Roman rite. I discovered that while looking at old videos from the 1940’s of religious functions in Italy and surfing the web to figure out the major differences.

Another difference is that at the end of the Mass there is the Kyrie before the Blessing.

Giovanni Montini was first head of the Ambrosian Rite as Archbishop of Milan and then head of the Roman rite as Pope Paul VI

If I’d seen this yesterday I wouldn’t have been able to tell you the rite but would have assumed the “trick” came from you posting the order of a non-Roman liturgy.

According to the N.O. Roman Missal it would be illicit. The only thing that would make the Mass invalid would be incorrect Form, Matter or Intent for the Consecration of the Eucharist. Other Catholic liturgies may have a different order and therefore would be both valid and licit.
