It can be necessary… but it is not fun. 🙂 I hope you will not be forced to have this operation.
 
Me to. I had a stent 5 years ago and have tried to eat heart healthy and exercise. So far so good.

No, I had a triple bypass. 🙂 A few weeks ago. Still very weak.

I had about 8 years since I had my stents… Of course that was my third heart attack. And I was exercising 30 mins five days a week. Oh, well. Guano happens. Best of luck to you.
