Okay this is a loaded question in that she believes she has the answer. however, she has been so selective in her choices here…Justin martyr where are you again. Not on her list. ignaitous of antioc (spelling) no not there either. She also nows nothing about plitinus, or the history of the church or she would never have made a chrage the entire roman world was leveling at the church for the first several centuries ie cannibilism. We had difficultly articulating how we can consume the body and blood of christ and not be cannibles. It was not till plitinus and agustine that followed that we really had a good explination for a pagan world. Not that we did not know. We just had no philisophical way of explaining it. Then plitinus gave us one world not two. There is no reality above that existis seperate from this reality. Christ is among us. If it is real then it is real. To say something is a spiritual is to avoid a confrontation with concreat reality. It is real or it is not. If it is real then it is as real as your foot. It is a baby or it is not a baby. The way you think about it does not alter the reality.Hello all, first post!
I encountered this question on another “forum” and need a good defense.
I need help either finding something that proves her wrong, or finding a reason that her limiting this to “VERY EARLY” Christians (1st/2nd Century) is flawed.
Thanks
