Just saw this on my Facebook feed from Donald Trump:

[Donald J. Trump]

[43 mins] Dr. Taylor Marshall, author. “There Is A War On Christianity”. OANN

That’s some pretty big publicity!

I doubt it. I think he just browsed some headlines and sent this out. I know TM likes to pay to create news (pachamama) so I wonder if Trump tweets for money or if this was just random gold TM struck.

Why a man of such a wealth would tweet for money?

I agree that he probably don’t have read the book.

Have you verify your information?

I also wonder where TM find the money to create news…?

Maybe that one of the president tweeter counselor has suggest he promote the book (TM may be the one who ask for it) because it matchs actuality and their political agenda?

Trump sells hats and t shirts for his campaign so I was just wondering if he sells tweets.

I believe he’s just referring to the fact that Taylor Marshall bought the plane tickets for the guys that threw the pachamamas in the Tiber. Not a huge sum of money.

Wow, that’s awesome!! Good for President Trump and Dr. Marshall. 👍

I guess liberals are having hissy fits but it’s pretty amazing. We went from a staunch pro abortion president who lied about protecting religious beliefs of Catholics, to a president who is pro life, supports religious liberty policies and is making public his support of Catholics.

Honestly I think Trump probably just happened to be watching the OANN broadcast, decided the segment was interesting and thought it would be good tweet material. I’d be curious to know if these critics that wring their hands over him endorsing a traditionalist also lose much sleep over him also endorsing Hannity, a former cafeteria Catholic who actually left the Church and bragged about it. Trump’s tweets are about politics and culture wars, so I don’t view his tweets as being a “Catholic contest” and I don’t think he discriminates or has shown interest in that regard. I just find it telling that as soon as he endorsed any traditionalists, people suddenly took issue about “what kind of Catholic” he was supposed to be endorsing.

I think Pres. Trump acknowledged Dr. Marshall and also Abp. Vigano recently as an appreciation for the message. Dr. Marshall’s site has grown significantly before this tweet. I think Trump like the interview he gave at One News. Dr. Marshall is well-spoken and informed. I like him, myself, personally. He lost a lot of support from EWTN and other sources over time, so I’m glad to see him gaining publicity and a high-level of support for his work.

One thing is clear, Trump doesn’t get to pick the spokespeople for the Catholic Church. Why White House Catholics are concerned about Trump’s Viganò retweet

I’ve listened to a lot of Taylor Marshall (when Tim Gordon was with him) and Marshall has a particular flavor of Thomism which he is convinced the Church needs to follow. In fact, it really shapes all of his endeavors and his criticisms of the Church. It’s why he “hates” Bishop Baron so much. In a nutshell, TM has made for himself a Catholic Church. Peel through all his ad hominems and you will see is all about St Thomas.

He hasn’t publicly said it that I know of but I also believe that he is a big proponent of an end-time apostasy, especially around Fatima. I can only imagine this is part of what drives him.

I think that’s unfair. I have listened to him often and he has been faithful to the Church, never saying anything against the Faith.

He is permitted to take that view. There are many who think that the 3rd secret speaks of an apostacy. Our Lady of LaSallette speaks of it - as do saints and mystics. That does not mean he is unfaithful to the Church or the teachings of Our Lord. Even without the Fatima prophecy, do you see some falling away of Catholics around the world today?

People have been falling away since Christ. I do think TM has been faithful to his beliefs which has now led him to embracing SSPX.
never saying anything against the Faith.
Well, Vatican II is part of the Faith. Ask him about that.
