Trust is only one aspect of Faith, the most basic of which is the trust that God will hold to all He has promised.
Rather, Faith more properly consists in the set of Divinely revealed truths that we have been given, and which has been handed down to us to the present day, known as the Deposit of Faith.
Furthermore, Faith also more properly consists in our adherence, that is, our submission and obedience to, the persons of the Trinity whose commands to us reside within the Deposit of Faith.
