I feel as though I have maxed out my welcome here…but…

Please pray for me as I am trying to avoid the hospital. If I wind up there please pray that we will have the necessary finances to cover it.

My asthma is in overdrive. I feel fluid in my chest and it hurts. I can’t do anything. Sitting hurts. We are going to the doctor as soon as this long weekend is over. Less than 24 hours, I am not sure I can make it. 😦

Thanks and God bless you all for your prayers! 🙂

Convert, go to the hospital now. You will do yourself more harm by waiting and the finances will then be the least of your problems!!

Don’t wait. Go now.

Convert. I agree with Wacky. Please get medical attention. I’m know for sure that everyone is praying hard for you. :gopray2: :hug3:

Dear Convert, you must go to the hospital. Please go.
Of course I will pray, but you must do something please.

I’ll pray for your healing and that God will enlighten you on what you have to do. Ask and you will be given.

Be well and get well soon…do your best to help God help you! I will pray for your health.

Thank you so much for all of your kind replies and prayers. I didn’t go to the ER, but we went to urgent care center. Same thing, just costs less. I still feel pretty sick, but it is just bad asthma. I am following up with the doctor. We may have to move because I have never had asthma this bad until we got here a year and a half ago.

Anyways…just wanted to say thank you and let everyone know I was “responsible” 😃 and got medical care. Please keep praying so we know if we need to move or not. Thanks and God bless you and yours for your kindness to me.

So glad to hear that you did go seek some help!🙂

Yes, of course praying!

I’m glad to know that you are still with us! Whew!

So where are you? Pollen.com is a site that might be helpful to you in choosing a new place to live. You can get the pollen counts for your zip code and they do seem more accurate than what is offered on the local TV newscast.

I don’t know much about asthma except that it is very frightening when you can’t breathe easily. I have heard that drinking coffee will open up your bronchial tubes. Have you tried that?

You know Convert, you were right, you have asked for more prayers than even ME!!! :rotfl:

You know I am kidding, I really am! My wife and I do hope that all is well with you. We continue to talk about CAF and it is funny to refer to people by their screen name. “Hey honey, Convert said…” it is funny. I guess as long as we do not start calling each other “Mirror Mirror” and “mamacita” around the house.

Back to what is important, we will be praying. :signofcross:

We live in Tennessee. We moved from Indiana. My asthma was generally only problematic with exertion in Indy, but in Tennessee it is constant. We are highly considering moving back. Our families both still live there too. 😉

I DO know about cofffee. It’s good for headaches and asthma. Tea is absoultely best for asthmatics. The caffiene is lower, but, it is different and actually is also found in some asthma meds! Go figure. I am a huge tea drinker and it DOES help. Thanks for the tips. You are the best!

Thanks for the prayers Mirror Mirror…just wait until your kids all have screen names too!

Convert, I 'm so glad you went in for treatment. I’m praying that you feel better soon. And if you do have to move, I pray that it is to a place with low crime, and great jobs for both you and hubby, and a great community!

As a fellow asthma sufferer, I know how bad this can get.

I must say my asthma has dropped considerably in the last 8 years. Regularly taking inhalers (Before when it was bad, I had to use a nebulizer), increase in fitness excersise and an unbelievable improvement in Irish air quality all helped my asthma.

Of course, whenever I had problems, hospitals or doctors were never a problem, as costs here are very low.

I hope not only that it gets better now, but improves for good. 🙂 👍

God bless!

Thanks Declan! You are very kind. I had treatments at the urgent care today, which included nebulizer filled with all sorts of meds. It did help some…I will have to ask my doctor for an at-home one to use when this flares up. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. God bless you and yours! 🙂

Convert - so glad you went for treatment and are doing better. CAF wouldn’t be the same without you.

Tenn - we know - we are from Louisiana but spending so much time in Memphis TN last year (12 yo DS being treated for brain cancer - we are home now and he is recovering) we too had sinus issues galore - of course it was the first time we saw snow in about 8 years too.

Stay well friend our prayers are with you and your family.
