I try to keep touch with what is going on in the church. I find myself stumbling in finding a good Catholic based news source. I have looked at ‘Church Militant’ and others, but who can be trusted.
By trusted, I mean who can I go to for a Catholic based news source that is not pushing their own agendas? I know it is too much to ask in general media outlets, but surely within the world of Catholic outlets there is some good source.

Lifesite News has reliable information in a format that I find easy to use. They have a Standard Edition tab and a Catholic Edition tab.

Here’s a link to the Catholic one LifeSite | Catholic Edition

Try National Catholic Register, which is mainly who I use.

EWTN Nightly News or The World Over both on ETWN TV. Peace be with you

The Vatican has a great website and its own radio network. Are you looking for national or global Catholic news.

I know this isn’t the place for jokes and the news agencies you guys proposed are good.

But what about my imaginary online news magazine thingy.

Smack bang on the Front page: Pope was seen levitating and flying over the Vatican. Is this a miracle? Or is this just natural evolution. Join me tomorrow for more news.

Loooool

I would have to withhold a recommendation on this one. American Magazine represents views that are more in line with MSNBC than with EWTN.
