Trying to find a blessing

I met the bishop two weeks before I was baptized in 2009… I was wearing a crucifix on a long chain and I asked him to bless it. He put his hand on my head and said a prayer of blessing and he said something to the effect about that I would always follow the road…etc. Does anyone know of something similar to this in the Book of Blessings. I realize this doesn’t give very much information but it was a very special moment in my life. You see, I was so amazed at the opportunity to meet an Apostle…and said so, when I met him I said, “I am so honored to meet an Apostle of Christ.” He laughed in a joyous way and said “My dear child, no one EVER calls me that.” and gave me a hug. He has passed away since, and if possible I would love to find the blessing/prayer that he said that day (if it exists). I was so overwhelmed with happy and joyous feelings that I didn’t memorize what he was saying. Thank you.

I don’t have the answer to the blessing but I had to share that was a beautiful moment that

Ask for help from St. Anthony, he has never let me down!

Also pray to the Holy Spirit to edify you as to the words of the blessing.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he ad-libbed the prayer, that it came from his heart and went straight to yours. It sounds like it is still in your heart, even though you don’t know the words. Try praying to the Holy Spirit and asking Him for guidance, and then start writing what you remember in the form of the prayer.
