Trying to find a Priest with background in Demonology/Exorcism

This is a bit of an odd request, but maybe someone here can help me. I’m trying to find a priest with experience in demonology or exorcism. I have a bit of a problem on my hands, and I need an expert opinion. It should be a Catholic priest (a real one, in Communion with the Pope).

If you happen to be such a priest or if you know of one, or if you can at least point me in the direction of where to find one, please send me a private message.

I posted this on other parts of CAF too; I hope that’s okay. I’m not trying to spam the Forums, and I wanted to be sure that this message would be seen.

You should ask your priest. If he can’t help you, call your diocesan offices. If they can’t help, try calling the diocese of New York. I am pretty sure they have an exorcist - I think I’ve heard him interviewed. NYC is far away, but they may be able to tell you where to find help.

Thanks for your response. In trying to find a priest for what I need, I did some research; New York actually has four or five priests. Fortunately, they travel the country to do their work.

But anyway it isn’t as if I need an exorcist. I just need to speak with one to get an opinion about something. We’re not being harrassed by demons, so it isn’t as if I need the Ritual performed, thank God, so a few phone calls hopefully would suffice.

Anyway, I’ll do as you suggest by asking my local parish and diocese. Truth be told, I’m a little embarrassed having to ask for their help on a topic like this, but I’ll just have to be really discrete.
