St. Anselm posited that we can conceive of God defined as That Than Which Nothing Greater Can Be Thought. Was he right? Why or why not? Note that I am not interested in discussing other common renditions of TTWNGCBT such as Greatest Conceivable Being, Maximally Great Being, etc. Let’s stick to Anselm’s original formulation.
