[TV] "Resurrection"

Is anyone going to watch this new show “Resurrection”? I have seen commercials for it seemingly non-stop, all through the Oscars and all through “Nashville” (which continues to get sillier and sillier) and I’m still not clear on what the show’s actually about. Ergo:

1.) Is this a mini-series, or a regular TV show that will only last a few episodes? I’ve had it with shows that I start watching, only for the show to be cancelled. (I gave up on this stupid show “Mind Games” after the first 5 minutes - has the ABC network jumped the shark on good TV shows?)
2.) Red from “That 70’s Show” plays the dad - in a dramatic role?
3.) Is the premise of the show mocking Christ’s resurrection?

Still very skeptical if it’s something I’d want to watch. Maybe if it weren’t on ABC.

out of curiousity, I went to the IMDB board for this show. Someone said they thought of the movie “Flight of the Navigator” when they saw one of the promos. But I disagree - I don’t want to spoil that movie if you’ve never seen it, but its not really the same.

I don’t think its mocking Christ’s resurrection, but maybe in some way, what will happen at the 2nd coming?

I won’t be watching it - I’ll turn to something else at 8 PM (central) after I enjoy the return of ‘Once Upon a Time’.

Here in Australia they keep playing movie-length commercials for TV shows (including this one) over and over. This is a common thing on TV here these days to really drag out commercials, and it drives me crazy, because by the time they actually air the show I’m over it and don’t feel like watching it at all. I guess I’ll watch the first episode…
