I know the TV networks are all about ratings, but I wish could spread some of the show out over different days.
Sometimes I find big-time schedule conflicts.
For example, on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. CST, I like NCIS-New Orleans, The Rookie, and New Amsterdam. But they are on at the exact same time.
I know I can VDR them, but it would be nice if these programs just were televised on different days of the week.

Subscribe to a streaming service and watch TV whenever you want!

Networks deliberately put similar shows on at the same time as their competition precisely because they don’t want you to watch their competitor’s show. They want to force you to choose and they hope you will choose their show.

I recall running into this time and time again when I was growing up. Nowadays, I don’t watch anything as it airs, so I no longer have this problem. 😝

I usually watch one show, and record the other two shows. Problem solved. But it would not be an issue, if the networks arranged their schedules differently.

Yes, Joe, I get it.
Thank goodness for DVRs and streaming services, etc. In the old days, before the advent of such things, we would have just had to choose to watch one program.

Personally, I like having two shows I want to watch broadcast at the same time. I record one show while I watch the other, then view the recording after the show I chose to watch finishes. This allows me to have nights with the TV off so I can do other things. If there were something to watch every night of the week, I’d be at the mercy of my television and I don’t want to live like that.

Before we had recording capability we had to make choices, but I don’t see that as a bad thing.
