I was disappointed by “Informed Consent.” I felt there were subtle biases toward euthanasia. The show definitely implied assisted suicide and I don’t think that was the right decision.

I haven’t seen many episodes, but I usually like the show. It was a bummer.
What do you think would have been the better Catholic alternative for a terminal patient?
  1. Would it be just letting him die a tortuous painful death.
  2. Let him die slowly but doped up heavily on medication, IE keep him on a ventilator, but keep a constant level of pain medication in his system.
  3. Induce a coma, but then keep him on the ventilator until he dies semi-naturally
  4. Other.

I would guess #2 would be most people’s vote, but everything other than #1 would be un-natural.

She reminded me that Cameron was counting the days/months until the AIDS testing. I wonder if they are going to have her be sick and get more worried about the exposure.
I almost totally forgot about that. Good call.
but I have to ask, is that House guy
always so bitchy and negative? That’s not a very
appealing characteristic to sustain in a series leading man…
Has anyone seen the MadTV sketch about House? It’s available on YouTube.

In it, the parody of Cuddy says, “Boy, you have a gruff exterior, House. But you’re loveable.”

The skit pretty much somes up the dynamic of the show.

(warning, it is a little racy…)

Great show last night. Having worked with Asperger children, I really enjoyed the cancer doctor reading the signs of it. It fit house to a T!😃

Last night’s episode was very touching- especially the last part with the boy “addressing” House.

It definitely was a “10”. The most humane I’ve seen House act yet (with the boy, that is, not the stalker)

Gmarie and Jrabs,
I agree! It was great to see the boy relate so well with House.👍

Anyone else think Foreman has turned into a complete jerk, and not a likable jerk like House.

I like House because it shows – not too accurately – the life of a man coping with chronic pain. I’m currently cane dependant and also use narcotics to cope with bone pain. So I thought it was so cool to see another guy on TV with the same problems.

I would say that he has gotten a little more out spoken. He also doesn’t hide his feelings as much. Chase seems to be always in agreement this year. Not sure of his motives. The girl intern seems to be more about motives and feelings. Over all they seem to be more in touch with their feelings this year.
