I was reading a thread in the “Ask an Apologist” forum a woman referred to her young pastor as “dangerously heterodox” What does this mean?

Also, What is meant by the Marian Doctrines?

Heterodox means he is teaching things not in line with the faith, in the case of “Dangerously Heterodox” that probably means that priest holds many views that are way out of line with Church teaching, some examples would be a priest saying that Women should be ordained, or the Eucharist is just a symbolic memorial, other religions are just as valid as Christianity, etc

Marian Doctrines are the key teachings about the Blessed Virgin that all Catholics believe in. eg Ever Virgin, Immaculate Conception, Mother of God, Assumption, are the big ones.
