Hi yall,
Old news here Hilali is a big joke to Australians. Not as in truly funny but as Aussies we make jokes of any thing hard to deal with, i guess it is a coping mechanism.
I look at his actions, the actions of priests, pastors and any in positions over other people and see how Satan leads them to wrong doings.
This is in contrast to what i am seeing here in this thread, here it is Islam that corrupts Hilali, maybe it is so.
Do we point Islam for our fallen priests? of course not, could we point to the books of the bible, of course not.
I see here the naughty little man getting money for what is supposed of G-d.
I have seen similar in Christian communities where pastors are paid according to their fame to come and “speak G-ds word into the community”. Big communities can afford famous preachers and small communities can afford friends of the pastor. I even know a community that is in deficit but the paster still pays his family and friends to come “speak G-ds word into the community”.
I have heard in Catholic parish people complain about Priests and pastoral associates being paid.
Would you deny a worker in the vineyard his pay?
The Islam teaching here in this thread says
“You are most entitled to take wages for doing a Ruqya with Allah’s Book.”
The bible says “The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.”
Now i can see you would see difference between what G-d does and what we do.
I have seen many priests sell blessings on cars, jewelery, houses we have had a list on our notice board at church stating the cost of sacraments. No prises for guessing what i did with it.
I guess men place interpretation suited to them on that that others do.
Those who have GENUINELY got a relationship with My Father maybe the best place to put your money.
My Father would not do good through those who would not do good with your money unless He knew it good to do so.
It is not really my money but is His money.
None of this post deny s My Father gives freely and it is best we do so.
The sword hath two edges, least u forget that because you pain in what you see of them.
